Job Title: Accountant

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

About the Company:

We are a dynamic and growing company based in Dubai, currently seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAE accounting and taxation regulations and be capable of managing the full accounting cycle of a company.

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a solid business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain full set of accounting records for the company in accordance with UAE regulations
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure full compliance with UAE tax laws
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing
• Compile and analyze financial statements
• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
• Manage budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare all necessary tax documentation and filings
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities when required
• Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting standards and deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and tax regulations (including VAT)
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Fluent in Russian and English (written and spoken)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with accounting software is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen
