We are looking for Business System Analyst in Lefa (on of our mine with roster 8/4 weeks).

Responsibilities:

• Initiate continuous improvement initiatives leading to cost saving or efficiency improvement opportunities
• Keep abreast of new developments within the specialist field
• Analyse the business to propose strategic targets (bottleneck identification, etc.)
• Conduct research, trend analyses, feasibility studies and benchmarking exercises
• Facilitate cross functional problem-solving sessions and idea generation
• Identify and implement automated reporting and solutions for different disciplines
• Manage the delivery of BI projects and initiatives
• Present data analysis results and able to effectively communicate to any level of the workforce
• Facilitate training and coaching in the use of the BI toolkits, to build widespread capability
• Promote a continuous improvement and problem-solving culture
• There may be a requirement to temporarily act on the BSN Director’s behalf

Requirements:

• Familiar with relational databases (e.g. SQL)
• Knowledge in web-based technologies (e.g. PowerBI)
• Knowledgeable in fleet management systems (e.g. WENCO)
• Knowledge in ERP (e.g. SAP) applications
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Understanding of auxiliary mining tasks and impact on mining production
• Familiar with mine technical services, including mine planning, geotech and survey
• Understands mining costs and main cost drivers

Conditions:

• Rotation schedule 8 weeks on site, 4 weeks offsite (including travels);
