Our Deal Advisory team includes over 170 professionals in Central Asia and Caucasus. We are one of the largest deal advisors with professional teams providing objective unbiased advice on every aspect of the full range of transactions.

We are seeking an Associate (Senior Consultant) to join our Business Valuation team in Almaty / Astana.

Responsibilities:

• In-charge role in Business Valuation projects;
• Dealing with management and personnel of a client and a target company (also during site visits);
• Carrying out financial analysis of company's historic results and projections, conducting industry research;
• Preparing of various types of financial models (from express models to complex flexible financial models);
• Valuation of business using market and cost approaches;
• Conducting industry research and market analysis;
• Report writing and review after junior staff;
• Preparation and supervision of client deliverables, reports, proposals, contracts and other project-related documentation as well as marketing materials;
• Supervising work of junior staff, coaching and mentoring;
• Ability to present results of deliverable to senior colleagues/management

Requirements:

• Higher education, preferably in Finance / Economics;
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in BIG4, Valuation consulting firm, Bank (corporate lending, collateral and risk departments), Private Equity, Internal Corporate Finance Department and / or 3 years of relevant experience in Industry (oil & gas, power & utilities, metals & mining, industrial plant, etc.);
• Knowledge of valuation methodology and techniques: DCF, different approaches to valuation;
• Good understanding of financial statements and interconnections between them, knowledge of financial accounting, good understanding of IFRS, US GAAP;
• Strong analytical skills, excellent writing and presentation skills;
• Fast learner, team player with strong communication skills;
• Ready for travelling;
• CFA, ASA, Kazakhstani Valuation license certification is a plus;
• Fluent English and Russian.
