Who will you be working with?

You will be part of a dynamic and innovative Global Engineering Team focused on delivering cutting-edge electrical systems for locomotives. This team collaborates closely with senior technologists, cross-functional engineering groups, and global stakeholders to drive high-impact projects that shape the future of rail transportation.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Electrical Engineering team, you will be responsible for the engineering design of electrical systems for locomotives, including point-to-point wiring, schematics, and packaging. You will work on high-visibility global projects that leverage the latest technologies and have a direct impact on business outcomes. Your role will involve collaborating with senior engineers and leaders, supporting manufacturing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that meet technical, safety, and performance standards.

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with electrical schematics and wire lists

• Proficiency in tools such as Wilmor, Oracle, NX, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing BOMs

• Familiarity with design, test, and analysis tools and systems

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities

• Legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan is required.

• Fluent in Kazakh, Russian and English

What will your typical day look like?

• Execute analysis, design, testing, and integration of electrical components and systems under guidance from senior engineers

• Develop concept and detailed designs for locomotive wiring schematics, point-to-point information, and wire lists

• Support mechanical routing and packaging of power cabling, control and network wiring, conduits, and electrical components

• Participate in 3D wiring development and design reviews

• Interface with drafting teams to implement design changes and drawing updates

• Provide technical support to ensure timely and quality deliverables from the team

• Benchmark tools and processes against industry standards to drive continuous improvement

• Support manufacturing by resolving shop floor issues and ensuring effective communication

• Participate in field testing, validation, and technical design reviews, and ensure closure of assigned action items
