KPMG is seeking a Manager (DPP Audit & Assurance) to join our Astana team. You will play a key role in supporting the DPP Assurance team, providing guidance on audit methodology, and contributing to various audit-related projects. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the firm’s audit processes.

As our Manager (DPP Audit & Assurance), you will:

• Audit Consultation: Research and respond to mandatory and non-mandatory audit consultations, ensuring alignment with International Standards of Auditing (ISA), ISAE, and ISRE.
• Methodology Guidance: Provide expert advice on KPMG's audit framework.
• Team Support: Coach audit teams during consultations and provide input throughout the process.
• Training & Content Preparation: Prepare content for audit updates and training sessions for KPMG staff and partners.
• Standards Research: Stay updated on local standards and ISA developments through research and participation in topic teams.
• Regulatory Reviews: Assist in regulatory reviews and internal quality inspections, supporting engagement partners with methodology-related issues.
• Project Management: Support senior staff in project management and implementation of specific projects within DPP Assurance.

• Have excellent attention to detail and strong business writing skills.
• Are passionate about research and comfortable working both independently and in teams.
• Possess deep knowledge of ISA, ISAE, ISRE, and ISRM.
• Have strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Are proactive, a self-starter, and able to work well under pressure.
• Have excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels, both within and outside KPMG.
• Have a professional attitude and are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Audit Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Practical experience in applying auditing standards in audit engagements.
