As the PE Teacher at Ardingly Astana, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging physical education curriculum to pupils in the primary school. The PE Teacher will design lessons that promote physical activity, skill development, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. They will be expected to organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and fostering a positive and inclusive school environment conducive to learning and growth.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct engaging PE lessons that incorporate a variety of activities to promote physical fitness, motor skills, and sportsmanship.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curriculum aligned with educational standards and objectives.

• Assess pupils' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters pupils' confidence, resilience, and enjoyment of physical activity.

• Supervise pupils to ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines.

• Organize and supervise extracurricular sports teams, tournaments, and events.

• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education concepts into other subject areas and school-wide initiatives.

• Communicate regularly with parents and teachers regarding pupils' progress and participation in physical education.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or related field

• Teaching certification in Physical Education or equivalent.

• Previous experience teaching physical education in an educational setting is desirable.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to promoting health, wellness, and physical activity among children.

• Proficiency in English essential, Russian and/or Kazakh language desirable.
