Quality Engineer in Astana.

More than a job: a mission

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure stable performance of our locomotives. This is a full-scope quality role from quality control and inspections to analysis, NCR and continuous improvement. You’ll work alongside people who shоwup with ownership, passion, and dedication — because they know what’s at stake: the journey home.

Your role, your impact:

• Conduct quality control procedures, cooperate with the client on quality issues.
• Process non-conformity reports (NCR) and analyse causes as well as develop prevention actions.
• Take part in the QMS process.
• Maintain clean and detailed data on all issues and incidents.
• Implement new quality tools, including GSI, APSYS, etc.

You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, operations, and supply chain — solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.

What you bring:

• Degree in Quality, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in quality tools (root cause analysis, NCRs, internal and external audits).
• Understanding of specifics of railroad industry.
• Intermediate English.

How success is measured:

• Quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Relevance of technical recommendations.
• Contribution to peer reviews and teamwork.
