We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer with strong underground mining expertise. This is a predominantly field-oriented role focused on underground mines across Kazakhstan, requiring frequent site visits and travel between remote mining locations

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out sales and marketing activities for UGC products (underground solutions)

  • Manage and develop existing customer portfolio while acquiring new clients

  • Develop sales strategies based on market research and analysis

  • Provide technical consultation and product recommendations tailored to customer needs

  • Conduct underground field trials and site tests

  • Prepare detailed technical and sales reports

  • Achieve sales targets and prepare regular performance reports

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry innovations

  • Participate in tenders and technical evaluations

Work Structure

  • 80–90% field-based role (underground mine visits across Kazakhstan)

  • 10–20% office presence (reporting, internal meetings)

  • Regular travel to Karaganda and other mining regions

  • Valid driving license is mandatory

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience (ideally 7–10+ years)

  • Mandatory hands-on experience in underground mining

  • Strong understanding of underground production methods

  • Experience with underground concrete solutions is a strong advantage

  • Proven experience in technical sales or technical consulting

  • Experience conducting product trials and preparing technical reports

  • Knowledge of tender processes is a plus

  • International exposure or experience working with multinational teams is an advantage

  • Willingness to travel for training (including Turkey)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly to customers

  • High level of independence, self-organization, and stress resilience

  • Willingness to work in challenging underground conditions

  • Proficiency in MS Office (mandatory)

  • Power BI knowledge is an advantage
