About the role:

Fourmeta is looking for an experienced Senior Next.js & TypeScript Developer to join our team and build a desktop-first, AI-driven internal application.

This role focuses on developing scalable, high-performance frontend solutions with a strong emphasis on AI integrationand modern web technologies. Experience with OpenAI API is a strong plus.

You will work closely with designers and backend engineers to create intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing user interfaces for complex internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Architect frontend solutions for scalable and AI-driven applications
• Implement responsive and accessible UI in collaboration with UX/UI teams
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following modern best practices
• Optimize performance, scalability, and responsiveness of applications
• Integrate frontend seamlessly with backend services and AI APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues and bugs
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
• Write unit tests and maintain high code quality and coverage
• Stay up to date with modern frontend technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Advanced knowledge of React.js and Next.js (SSR, SSG, dynamic routing)
• Strong UI development skills with focus on responsive and accessible design
• Experience optimizing frontend performance
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to clean, high-quality code
• Experience with ShadCN UI library
• Experience working with OpenAI API or other AI integrations is a strong plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with design systems (Mantine UI, Tailwind CSS, etc.)
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, etc.)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Experience with build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Understanding of accessibility standards (a11y)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, etc.)
• Experience with JIRA, Slack, Confluence or similar tools
