We are Belka Games. Our company is one of the 20 highest-grossing game developers in Europe according to data.ai, and our audience recently surpassed an important milestone of 110 million players.

We're looking for a Technical Designer to join our team and connect art with development. You'll optimize graphics, build 3D scenes, and make sure everything looks and runs great.

What you'll be doing:

  • Be the link between developers and artists
  • Comply with the pipeline of graphical work for this project
  • Set your own tasks and assess deadlines for completing them within the team
  • Complete tasks to the expected quality standard
  • Optimize the project's graphic resources
  • Assemble events: 3d scenes and prefabs, cutscenes, translations and configs

What we need from you:

  • Unity editor proficiency
  • Excellent understanding of the hierarchy of objects in Unity, asset structure, and UI optimization
  • Understanding of the pipeline for creating content for mobile projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with Git
  • Principles of adaptive layout in Unity
  • Working with custom editor tools using Odin Inspector
  • Content creation processes with mandatory validation before pushing
  • Building client and bundles with CI
  • Knowledge of Unity asset types and their import settings
  • Basic tools: Mecanim, Animation, Timeline, Particle System, atlas creation
  • Basic principles of profiling and frame debugging

Would be nice:

  • Experience working in 3d software
  • Skill with writing shaders
  • Basic programming skills
