 Designed and implemented AAC systems, including PECS and Core
Communication Boards, to support two children with complex communication
needs.
 Served as a literacy substitute teacher for early elementary students, delivering
lessons aligned with the All About Reading and Writing Without Tears program.

Supporting the development of a 5-year-old child with Down syndrome, with an
emphasis on enhancing language and literacy skills.
 Promoting language development through play-based sensory activities, role-playing,
parallel talk techniques, and American Sign Language (ASL).
 Teaching reading using strategies tailored for children with Down syndrome,
inspired by Glenn Doman and Natalie Hale.
 As a result of over two years of collaboration, the child has progressed from being
nonverbal to a curious communicator and is now at the level of an emergent reader.
