Andersen is looking for a AI Engineer (Python) for a FinTech project with a bank in Kazakhstan. The role involves working on AI-driven enhancements to improve banking services and support digital transformation.

The customer is a leading retail bank in Kazakhstan, operating nationwide with a strong focus on consumer lending and digital financial services. As part of an international financial group, the organization offers innovative banking solutions including loans, credit and debit cards, and a high-performing mobile app. It has earned national recognition for excellence in digital transformation, financial inclusion, and corporate social responsibility.

The project is focused on the AI-driven transformation of the bank’s key services. It involves integrating artificial intelligence technologies to enhance core banking processes, improve customer experience, optimize decision-making, and drive innovation across various digital channels.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and optimizing LLM-based solutions.
• Creating and maintaining asynchronous REST API services.
• Working with vector databases and implementing advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) approaches.
• Containerizing and deploying applications.

Must-haves:

• Commercial development experience with Python for 4+ years.
• Higher technical education or specialized AI/ML courses.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in AI/ML.
• Experience in designing and developing backend services using microservice architecture.
• Knowledge and experience with FastAPI and asyncio.
• Experience working with Docker, docker-compose, and CI/CD systems.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), with the ability to optimize queries.
• Experience working with Redis and RabbitMQ.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
