We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to work on our on-premise container management platform. This role sits at the intersection of backend development and system administration: you’ll build and maintain a Django-based control plane, manage Dockerized services on Linux servers, and help evolve the architecture of a complex production environment.

Your Tasks Will Be:

• Develop and maintain our Django/Flask-based container management system.
• Build and improve installation and automation tools using Bash and Go.
• Work extensively with Linux servers (CentOS, Ubuntu) via SSH.
• Manage and troubleshoot Docker containers and associated services.
• Configure and optimize Nginx for secure and efficient performance.
• Integrate and operate supporting services: RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Analyze system logs, debug production issues, and participate in refactoring and architectural design.
• Take part in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• Expertise in Python web development with strong, practical experience in Django.
• Strong Linux system administration background and confidence working with remote servers.
• Hands-on experience with Docker in production environments.
• Experience with Go (production use is a plus, but solid pet/side projects also count).
• Experience working with on-premise or enterprise-grade solutions.
• Deep understanding of distributed system architecture with the ability to design scalable, resilient solutions and make sound engineering trade-offs.
• A problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills for code reviews and technical discussions.
• Russian — advanced level or higher.
• English — intermediate level or higher.

Required Technical Skills:

• OS & Containerization: Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu), Docker, SSH.
• Languages & Frameworks: Python (Django, Flask), Go, Bash scripting.
• Web Server: Nginx configuration and management.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Messaging & Caching: RabbitMQ, Redis.
• Search & Analytics: Elasticsearch.
• Diagnostics: Log analysis, debugging distributed systems, understanding of the HTTP request lifecycle and Django request processing.
