Business system analyst/Finance analyst

We are looking for Business system analyst/Finance analyst (one of our mine).

Responsibilities:

• Executes daily business analytics for multiple departments and disciplines
• Conducts research, trend analyses and benchmarking exercises
• Initiates and manages continuous improvement work
• Leads cost saving or efficiency improvement opportunities
• Facilitate cross functional problem-solving sessions and idea generation
• Sets up and trains on KPI dashboards
• Presents data analysis results (capable to structure presentations and can convey the message to any stakeholder)

Requirements:

• Strong Mining Engineering or Metallurgical Degree
• Formal project management qualifications would be beneficial

• Minimum 8 years' experience in mining environment or management consulting
• Total minimum relevant career experience more than 12 years
• Familiar with mining production and production KPI's – open pit and / or underground
• Has led and managed project management teams or continuous improvement teams; has management experience
• Exceptional numerical and analytical skills; very strong excel capability (and can also train others in excel)
• Knows fleet management systems (e.g. WENCO)
• Familiar with relational databases (e.g. SQL)
• Knowledge in web-based platforms (e.g. PowerBI)
• Fluent in French (speak, read, write) will be as advantage
• High level in English (speak, read, write) must have
• Highly geared towards a methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind-set
• Exceptional structured problem-solving capability
• Communicates effectively with all stakeholders, builds and maintains strong relationships
• Has an international driving license
