We are currently seeking a Production Support Engineer to join our team at the LKZ locomotive factory in Kazakhstan. The Production Support Engineer will collaborate with various teams including manufacturing, engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing and assembly issues related to locomotives. The successful candidate will provide engineering and technical support and author Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to updаtеCAD models and prints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product change requirements and execute the required change through the engineering change process

• Author Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to updаtеCAD models and prints

• Prepare detailed reports to share with global teams and discuss the issues for potential solutions

• Communicate findings and possible resolutions to responsible Design Engineers and then track the same to closure through the use of Process Change Request (PCR) module in Reliance

• Lead component level DFMEA’s, root cause analyses, and safety analyses where needed

• Assist manufacturing in researching and communicating manufacturing deviations to correct design engineer

• Attend tollgate design review meetings as production support engineering reviewer and complete all actions assigned during review by due dates

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or production engineering

• 3 years of experience in the rail industry

• Experience in component design, development, assembly, quality control

• Thorough understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, schematic diagrams, GD&T, etc.

• Expertise in welding of steel components, including stainless steel

• Proven record of working cross-functionally with Sourcing, Manufacturing & Quality organizations

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Computer literate, Microsoft Office, MS Project 2010
