JOB SUMMARY

CCS Sales Executive prepares all event documentation and coordinates with group sales and/or catering sales, hotel departments, and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post event phases of hotel events; primarily handles events of high complexity and Key Accounts. Ensures all hotel events have a seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales. Establishes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events. Ensures compliance with Ritz-Carlton Operating Standards to maintain brand integrity. Supports and acts on behalf of the CCS Manager in his absence. Is the event planner’s primary contact on property and is responsible for their experience

  17. Knowledge of Event Technology products and services

  26. Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  1. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and guests to ensure proper communication, satisfaction, and expectations are met
  2. Effectively communicating the hotel’s products, services, and offerings to guests and potential clients
  3. Conducting site inspections and client tours of the hotel and event spaces
  4. Collaborating with the culinary and banquets departments to create custom menus and execute food and beverage services for events, expertise in menu planning, food presentation and banquet/event service standards
  5. Providing support on event-day logistics including room set up, signage, audio-visual, and transportation
  6. Assisting with sales activities, including follow-up, prospecting, and generating leads
  7. Working closely with the CCS Managers to ensure all details of the event are executed flawlessly
  8. Lead daily BEO meeting to ensure operational alignment of all attending departments for next day’s events. Attend weekly forecasting meeting, resume meeting and staff meeting.
  9. Attends all pre-cons in the absence of the CCS Manager in order to establish relationship with meeting/event planners and support CCS leaders.
  10. Sales and Revenue Management:
  • Builds the unit’s top line revenue by focusing on the post-contractual sale of products and services. Maximizes revenue by up selling contracted products and identifying additional revenue opportunities based on the event profile.
  • Effectively up-sells products and services throughout the event process.
  • Meets and exceeds individual up-sell goals.
  • Meets and exceeds individual guest room and food and beverage forecasting accuracy goals.
  • Meets and exceeds team banquet profitability goals.
  • Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process when necessary.
  • Effectively manages customer budgets to maximize revenue and meet customer needs.
  • Accurately forecasts group sleeping rooms and event revenue (banquet and audio-visual) for his/her groups and acts as a mentor for other managers in this area.
