s16vc is a Founders for Founders fund investing from Pre-Seed to Series A in global-first tech companies. We’re building a fund as a product, in public. We invest in founders referred by the community, treat every founder request as our own, and play poker. Backed by over 150 founders, operators, and investors – including the minds behind Datadog, UiPath, Miro, Hugging Face, Chargebee, Wolt, Supercell, Pitch, Picsart, and Intercom – we're trusted by those who’ve built it all before.

We recently launched our multi-family office and are already managing complex portfolios and onboarding new clients. Now, we’re looking for a sharp, resourceful, and trustworthy Finance & Operations Assistantto help us resolve lots of daily tasks.

This role is a mix of finance, ops, and client service. You’ll work directly with our founding team and help maintain the infrastructure that supports high-impact founders, their companies, and their wealth.

• Portfolio tracking
  Help gather and organize investment data across multiple entities (individual, trust, corporate). Pull information from banks, brokers, accountants, and auditors into easy-to-use Excel or Google Sheets trackers.
  

• Execution support
  Prepare and complete compliance paperwork: KYC forms, tax questionnaires, onboarding documents for banks and brokers.
  

• Vendor & partner coordination
  Research and reach out to legal/tax vendors (e.g., trust service providers), collect quotes, schedule calls, and follow through on deliverables.
  

• Stakeholder management
  Liaise with accountants, wealth managers, banks, and legal advisors across US and European time zones. Keep the wheels turning.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in operations, executive assistant roles, etc. with ability to manage finance & understanding of financial data.

• Fluency in Excel / Google Sheets – pivots, formulas, cross-sheet data management.

• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. You’re not afraid to call a bank or follow up with an auditor.

• Operational brain – you love systems, workflows, and getting things done right.

• Fluent in English.

• A natural solver. You figure things out, even when there’s no playbook.

• Trustworthiness and discreetness. You’ll be handling sensitive information for high-trust clients.

• Energy and curiosity. We’re not corporate – we’re scrappy, lively, and human.

• Not afraid of ambiguity. You thrive in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments.

Working hours:

This is a full-time remote role. The core working hours are from 9-10 am till 6-7pm Central European Time (check the time difference here), with flexibility to occasionally respond outside those hours if urgent tasks arise.
