We are seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to lead our efforts in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with local Kazakhstani banks, financial institutions, and regulators. This role is critical in driving business growth, expanding our market presence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a business development strategy to establish partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies in Kazakhstan.

Identify and engage potential partners to expand Collect Group’s payment and exchange services.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, to ensure compliance and foster collaboration.

Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements with financial institutions to enhance service offerings.

Represent Collect Group at industry events, conferences, and meetings to strengthen brand visibility and network.

Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Collaborate with internal teams (legal, compliance, product, and operations) to align business development efforts with company objectives.

Drive revenue growth by securing new partnerships and expanding existing ones.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 8-10 years in business development, partnerships, or sales within the fintech, banking, or payments industry, preferably in Kazakhstan.

Strong understanding of the local financial sector, regulatory environment (AIFC, National Bank of Kazakhstan), and payment ecosystems.

Established relationships with banks, financial institutions, and regulators in Kazakhstan.

Proven ability to negotiate and close high-value partnerships.

Ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies.

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in English, Russian, and Kazakh (preferred).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
