Job Title: Head of HR and Ethics & Compliance, Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Engineering
Location: Astana, Kazakhstan (with potential for travel within Kazakhstan and internationally)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of HR and Ethics & Compliance. This pivotal leadership role will be responsible for overseeing all Human Resources functions, as well as driving and embedding a strong culture of ethics and compliance throughout the organization. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring that our people practices align with both local regulations and Airbus standards, while upholding the highest ethical principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:
Define, develop, and implement the overarching HR strategy aligned with the overall business strategy and organizational goals.
Develop and implement HR initiatives including talent acquisition, retention, performance management, compensation & benefits, training & development, and employee relations.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding, ensuring a diverse and talented workforce.
Work on succession planning for key employees, identifying high-potential individuals and developing robust plans for their growth and readiness for future leadership roles.
Set-up, administer and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Kazakh labor laws and Airbus HR guidelines.
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Implement and maintain monthly HR dashboards and reports, providing key insights into HR metrics and performance to the leadership team.
Lead and support organizational development initiatives.
Act as a change agent, supporting the company's growth and transformation.

Ethics & Compliance:
Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Ethics & Compliance program, aligned with Airbus Group policies and international best practices.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks, particularly in areas such as anti-bribery and corruption and data privacy
Develop and deliver comprehensive ethics and compliance training to all employees, ensuring awareness and understanding of policies and procedures.
Manage the whistleblowing mechanism and conduct internal investigations into alleged breaches of ethical conduct or compliance policies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for ethics and compliance-related inquiries and provide expert advice to employees and management.
Collaborate closely with legal counsel (internal and external firms) on compliance matters, contract reviews, and regulatory issues.
Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations in Kazakhstan and internationally, ensuring the company's continuous compliance.
Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential: Proven experience in Human Resources, with a significant portion ideally gained within international organizations, including strategic HR planning and succession planning.
Essential: Demonstrated experience and a strong attitude towards Ethics & Compliance, with a solid understanding of compliance frameworks and best practices.
Highly Desirable: Legal background or demonstrated experience working closely with legal firms on corporate and regulatory matters.
Experience working in a multinational or joint venture environment is a significant advantage.
Proven ability to develop and implement HR and Ethics & Compliance programs from the ground up or significantly enhance existing ones.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in developing and interpreting HR dashboards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and a strong team player.

Languages:
Fluent in Russian, Kazakh and English (written and spoken)
Ideally, proficiency in German or French (written and spoken) is a strong asset.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree or professional certifications in HR, Psychology or Compliance are highly desirable.
