Could you be the full-time Maintenance Engineer in Astana we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and analytical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a crucial role in keeping maintenance manuals up-to-date, ensuring technical excellence and innovation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (operations, sourcing, and industrial teams), develop and optimize maintenance plans, and ensure compliance with safety standards, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing technical documentation and developing standardized tools and processes for maintenance activities, but also support cost reduction and fleet reliability improvement initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing the technical performances of systems and providing REX to relevant services platforms
-
Optimizing the scope and tasks of the maintenance plan
-
Supporting cost reduction actions in collaboration with sourcing and industrial teams
-
Detecting, defining, and implementing modifications to improve reliability and serviceability
-
Assuring the updаtеof technical documentation for projects
-
Supporting the Product Safety Management System to mitigate safety risks
-
Managing the Obsolescence Plan
-
Interfacing with stakeholders in certification processes
-
Developing work instructions and processes from maintenance plans and manuals
-
Analyzing technical performances and maintenance efficiency and promoting improvement actions
-
Managing technical documentation within the system and interfaces with MMIS
-
Developing and maintaining LCC models and visual management tools
-
Proposing actions to optimize maintenance plans and LCC
-
Promoting the use of advanced maintenance techniques and R&D developments

University degree in Railway Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering

1+ years of experience in maintenance engineering

Knowledge of rolling stock equipment
-
Experience or understanding of rolling stock maintenance (desirable)

Working knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment (desirable)
-
Proficient in the use of MS Office, SAP, BI/BO
-
Problem-solving capacity (technical and cost evaluation of a solution)
-
Capacity to manage technical risks
-
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
