An International engineering company is looking for a Senior Accountant in Astana.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including fixed assets, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Maintain and updаtеSAP accounting records, ensuring compliance with company policies and SOD principles.
• Provide financial advice while ensuring adherence to statutory regulations and corporate standards.
• Lead reconciliations with vendors and customers, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare for and manage Internal and External Audits, addressing findings within set deadlies.
• Monitor the balance sheet monthly and ensure financial work instructions are regularly updated.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in accounting and finance
• Strong knowledge of fixed assets accounting and SAP systems.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with IFRS 9, 15, and 16.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
