Senior Legal Advisor

• Provide professional advice, research and support in all legal matters related to the Company’s activities
• Review and ensure compliance of Company documents (agreements, contracts, memorandums, letters, etc.) with legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• Support the Legal Manager in the daily operations of Department
• Assist the Company Management and other internal functions in development and implementation of Company policies and procedures
• Represent the Company’s legal interests before state bodies, courts and third parties. Prepare and present legal arguments in the course of proceedings
• Analyse and prepare documentation relating to litigation, claims, and legal matters
• Maintain records of agreements and original documents held by the Legal Department
• Liaise with external legal counsel: define scope of work, issue instructions, monitor progress of work and ensure proper time allocation and billing

• High University degree in law or equivalent degree
• Minimum 5 years of professional legal experience with a major international law firm or mid-to-large size multinational corporate law department
• Advanced English

• Astana, 5/2 (office based, with business trips, when required)
