Sourcing Specialist is the member of Schlumberger Procurement & Sourcing Department (P&S) who, under the supervision of the Geounit P&S Manager, is responsible for sourcing suppliers, contractual negotiations with suppliers in accordance with our P&S standards and best practices. Permanent location in Atyrau.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

• Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers;
• Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company;
• Obtaining quotes from different suppliers;
• Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers;
• Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns;
• Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes;
• Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing;
• Contractual negotiations with suppliers;
• Team KPOs set internally;
• Cross functional.

Requirements:

• Drives completion of tasks respecting deadlines and communicating openly with stakeholders and management;
• Minimum 3 years in procurement;
• Demonstrated sourcing and/or purchasing experience or transferable skills including negotiation, identifying opportunities and supporting supplier selection to achieve timely execution;
• Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments;
• Demonstrated professional oral / written communication and influencing skills;
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Strong PC and database management skills;
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and a diplomatic attitude;
• Strong attention to detail;
• 5/2, willing to be based or based in Atyrau.
