Head of Business Development — Incubation Egg Project

About the Role

Aitas Holding — one of Kazakhstan’s leading agro-industrial groups — is launching a new business line, “hatching eggs”, aimed at creating a sustainable, efficient, and integrated business model within the company’s ecosystem.

We are looking for a Head of Business Unit to develop, launch, and scale this direction from the ground up — ensuring strategic growth, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.

This is a strategic leadership role combining strategy, project management, and business development — not day-to-day administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a 3–5 year strategy and Go-to-Market plan for the “Incubation Egg” business line.

• Conduct market and competitor analysis, define the business model and investment plan.

• Lead the full-cycle project launch: team formation, budgeting, risk and stakeholder management.

• Build strategic partnerships with farmers, hatcheries, suppliers, and distributors.

• Develop B2B sales channels and ensure operational integration (“production → incubation → distribution”).

• Build financial models, monitor ROI, and drive profitability improvements.

• Travel to production sites and partner facilities as required to oversee operations and partnerships.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing business units or large-scale projects (launch, development, scaling).

• Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.

• Experience with cross-functional teams and multi-stakeholder environments.

• Higher education in Economics, Business, Engineering, or Agrotechnology (preferred).

• Solid understanding of P&L management, business modeling, and investment analysis.

• Fluent Russian and English.

Preferred Background

• Experience in B2B sales, agriculture, logistics, or FMCG.

• Ability to work effectively in dynamic, evolving environments.

• Strong decision-making, systems thinking, and communication skills.
